Политика конфиденциальности

Последнее обновление: 2026-08-24

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how DroidHost (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our website and services. By using DroidHost, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data — when you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Content you provide — reviews, ratings, comments, and any messages you send us through the contact channels.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, apps downloaded, search queries, language preference, and interaction events, collected to operate download counters, recommendations, and trending lists.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, and referring pages, collected automatically in server logs for security and diagnostics.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, and we do not collect payment information — DroidHost is free to use.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary or improve your experience:

  • Authentication cookies — secure, HttpOnly session cookies keep you signed in. A companion cookie stores your basic profile so the interface can greet you by name.
  • Preference cookies — remember your language and dark/light theme choices.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but signing in and preference persistence will not work without them.

4. Analytics

We measure aggregate usage of the Service (page views, download counts, popular searches) to understand what content is useful and to improve DroidHost. Analytics data is processed in aggregated or pseudonymized form wherever possible and is not sold to anyone.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of processors to run the Service:

  • Google OAuth — optional sign-in with your Google account. Google shares only your basic profile (name, email, avatar) with us; we never see your Google password. Google’s own privacy policy applies to their processing.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS SES) — we use AWS Simple Email Service to send transactional email such as verification links and password resets. Your email address is shared with AWS solely for delivery.
  • Hosting and storage providers — APK files, images, and our databases are stored with reputable cloud infrastructure providers under data-processing agreements.

We never sell your personal data. We disclose it only to the processors above, or where required by law.

6. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • To authenticate you and manage your account;
  • To send essential transactional emails (verification, password reset);
  • To personalize recommendations and remember your preferences;
  • To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Retention and Security

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Server logs are rotated on a short schedule. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, connections are encrypted with TLS, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate data;
  • Delete your account and associated personal data — available directly from your profile settings, or on request;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced through the Service.
